About Jaime

Jaime Coffee is a longtime broadcast professional based in Northern California who uses her “velvet voice” to inform and entertain the crowd while “trailblazing” her way through venues throughout the country.   

After more than a decade as an on-air personality in radio, Jaime Coffee took her vocal talent and love of sports courtside in 2001, when she became the Public Address Announcer for the WNBA’s Sacramento Monarchs, where she spent nine seasons.

Her responsibilities courtside didn’t stop there. In 2020, Jaime was back behind the mic for the WNBA in Bradenton, Florida, where she was the only female PA Announcer to work in “the Wubble.” In addition, she serves as the PA Announcer for the annual Pac 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas, NV; the Sacramento State women's basketball team; and the Sacramento Republic Football Club.  She’s also handled announcing responsibilities for the US Women’s National Team, the 2019 Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City, OK; the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball West Regional in San Jose, Calif; and USA Rugby and US Lacrosse in Sacramento, Calif.

Obsessed with breaking new ground while entertaining and informing audiences, Jaime made history when she became the first woman to serve as a public address announcer in the NBA on January 29, 2014. 

When not commanding crowds from the best seat in the house, Jaime emcees for the Mermaid Series –Athletic Events for Women, and lends her voice to various recording projects such as commercials, training videos, audiobooks, and corporate on hold messages.
